Millions of unknown people die every day in the Middle Sea or elsewhere in the world. People trying to cross the sea to the “Eldorado world” for a better life. According to Project Migrant Migrants (IOM), the number of deaths in the sea has reached 3500 in September 2016 against nearly 2800 in 2015. Today we do not know how many. However, these numbers are erratic, since it is very difficult to trace all who are drowning in the ocean.
This is an on-going project to narrate, comment and make a political statement about everyday news. The project is a series of imaginative painted portrait either shadows or drawings to be displayed as a comprehensive painting installation.
